In 1968, Romar Engineering started out as a toolmaking and engineering business servicing the automotive and industrial trade across the US, European and Asian markets. In 1993, we sought and attained ISO 9001 accreditation to support our tooling and moulding services in those industries. As the medical device industry blossomed, we established an ISO Class 7 and 8 clean room to cater for the medical device manufacturing needs. We received our ISO13485 accreditation in November 2008 firming our position in the industry. Due to our continuous dedication to excellence, demand for our cleanrooms increased resulting in our ISO Class 8 clean room being upgraded in late 2013. It now houses a total of 8 state of the art injection moulding machines, alongside manual and automated assembly processes to match.
Having firm control over our quality related goals, we began to address our environmental responsibilities. In early 2014, we achieved accreditation in ISO14001: Environmental Management. This reinforces our commitment to our continuous improvement goals that will ensure Romar is environmentally and economically sustainable long-term.
