Marc Jolivet

Marc Jolivet is intrigued by everything 3D printing. It is his career obsession and he is highly skilled in additive manufacturing. His experience includes working for high profile companies such as ResMed and CSIRO as a technical engineer.

In January 2019, Marc became Romar’s Additive Manufacturing Manager, overseeing the technical coordination of our 3D printing or additive manufacturing business.

Romar is the first company in the southern hemisphere to offer a DMG Mori Lasertec 65 3D 5-axis synchronous laser deposition, welding and milling machine.

We offer this expertise to our clients in collaboration with CSIRO.

Marc worked with CSIRO for 9 years and was instrumental in the development of 3D printing.

He set up the first fully digitised machine shop on the CSIRO North Ryde campus and was the first employee to embrace 3D printing directly in development work.

Marc and his team are highly skilled in additive manufacturing and continue to receive advanced training. They continue to evolve in this area and create previously impossible component in new materials such as stainless steel, bronze, nickel-based alloys and Stellite.
